S. R.
MIKULIC

Literary speculative fiction about
the stories we tell ourselves when
reality becomes inconvenient.

FICTION

A QUIET WRONGNESS.

A small concession. A comforting explanation. A choice that makes perfect sense—until it doesn’t. Enter stories where ordinary desires lead people somewhere they never meant to go.

ABOUT

THE PERSON BEHIND THE STORIES

S. R. Mikulic lives in Northern Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s in Human-Computer Interaction.

Much of her career has been spent designing conversational AI experiences, observing how people place trust in systems—and how those systems respond. That work sharpened a curiosity she now brings to the page.

Outside her fiction, she writes essays about the moments in everyday life that unsettle what we thought we knew.
